San Fransico Giants World Series Champions

Last week theWorld Series was on, it didn't take long for it to finished. The San Fransico Giants faced the Detroit Tigers. For game one the Giants had home field advantage, although they faced one of the best MLB pitchers. Justin Verlander for the Tigers matched up agaist Barry Zito of the Giants. The Giants started off strong with a run in the first inning, later in that game Pablo Sandoval hit three homeruns and tied a World Series Record. The final score was Giants 8 and Tigers 3. Game two of the series was low scoring, both pitchers played very well. Although San Francisco scored two late runs to capture the win 2-0. Game three was in Detroit, the Giants showed that they were a good road team and scored to early runs. After that the pitchers played acceptionally good, the final came to two nothing. Then in game four the score was tied after nine innings of play. In the tenth inning Scutaro for San Francisco hit in a run, Detroits season was on the line. In the bottom of the tenth pitcher Sergio Romeo came in to relieve pitch for Casilla. The first two batters he struck out swinging, the third batter was triple crown winner Miguel Cabera. Romeo still did his job and stuck Cabera out looking. The Giants then had a huge celebration, they WON THE WORD SERIES and swept the Detroit Tigers. The World Series MVP was awarded to Pablo Sandoval.
